Re: Bigger ALPHA register

May I propose the following: introduce negative flag numbers for tailoring new DM42 functionality and separating it from the work from Thomas? We could introduce a debugflag (e.g. SF -1) do all the things we need to do (i.de. hack into the keyboardmap, showing special info on the nice DM42 screen e...

Hewlett Packard-IP

What is the politics of HP concerning shape, layout and functions of all past HP calculators? I mean, the HP12C is still on sale and Swissmicros builds and sales a better copy of it as well all other voyager calcs. Does HP say "Here you are, do as you want, as long as you won't name it HP" - or take...

A couple of questions

What's the power consumption of the display witch switched off DM42? Does it safe power, if possible, to bring the display into "off-mode"?

IR port: is it possible to send any self definded codes? I'm thinking of a DM42 TV remote control.

Re: Edit code on PC

Great!
I "played" a little with it and it looks promising to me.

Thanks for your work,

Edit code on PC

Hi!
This is my first post, so hello to everybody.

I'm still no owner of a DM42 but hopefully I'll get one with the next batch in March.
I'd like to know if the code is editable with an editor or maybe within a GUI. I look around but found no info on that.

Thanks in Advance,
KiS
