Adjusting time correction?

Hi all,

For adjusting the time correction, should I use the procedure described in the DM41X manual, or can I use the CORRECT HP-41CX instruction as well?

Thanks!

Re: DM42- clock losing time

I bet the DM42 (and thus the DM41X) keeps better time than the Speedmaster though! :D

Re: Rapid wear with shift key

:D :D The baby poop is the reason why I don’t mind the key being black now!

Re: Rapid wear with shift key

Carefully mask with frog tape and spray a coat of lacquer... could even spray a coat of yellow before the clear lacquer? I know we should not have to, but this is a BETA after all. Yes, that is why it is forgivable (but not understandable, given the quality of the yellow and blue on the DM41L keybo...

Re: Rapid wear with shift key

For those who want to keep a yellow key on their beta (and I don’t know how many of them have this issue), would a wear resistant plastic sticker be an option? I know that’s not the same as a painted key, but it probably would hold up better in the long term anyway. The same goes for the blue key of...

Re: Rapid wear with shift key

Mine is black now. Actually looks pretty good.

I only hope that the blue key paint won’t wear off!

Having “SHF” and “ALP” labels instead of colored keys might be an option for the final models. Since these keys are used very often, they need to have good wear resistance.

LKAON and LKAOFF don’t work like I expect them to do

Not sure if this is a documentation error, or missing functionality. When I assign e.g. “TIME” to CLsigma, and the calculator is in user mode, I would expect that LKAOFF suppresses that key mapping, since it is a key on the second row. However, it looks like LKAOFF/LKAON only act on the first row ke...

Yes, that would be great indeed! Much better than having to use a menu.

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

Received mine today! :) I successfully plugged in the Thermal Printer Module but there is a "SM DM-41X" in the "Manage Modules in Flash" area. Attempting to plug in this module gives the error, "Cannot add another OS Module". What does this module do? How does one plug...
