Re: Announcment regarding shift-Key Color Wear
I don't have a DM42 to compare, but I was positively surprised by the DM41X keyboard. The key feel is better than my DM15L, and equal to my DM41L. That's great to hear. I have a DM41L and DM16L that I bought around 2015 or 2016, and while they certainly don't compare to a real Voyager, I find them ...

Same problem here now, but then with the 2 and 3 key (1 still works).

Re: DM41x - relaxing in the sun after a hard days toil
Great review, thanks!
The DM41X has been the only calculator I have used for at least the last month. In the meantime I sold my DM15L. I can't see myself using it anymore after getting spoiled by the 41X.

Re: [DM41L V30] Turning ON sometimes does not work
Not the same issue, but mine randomly switched off automatically, and reset itself. Michael sent me a new main board. Now everything is working as it should (though I use the L a lot less, now I have the X).

Re: Rapid wear with shift key quick fix!
Got some electrical tape, yellow. Correct yellow. I think pin striping might be thinner but it looks good and is a solid colour so wont wear in that respect. That looks good indeed. I wonder how long it will stay attached? If the blue key will wear at some point, I will go the sticker way as well. ...

Re: Additional Option for the SI Screen
Not sure if it is possible to make DSP switchable between showing either X and Alpha, or X and Y? The latter would be my preference anyway.

Re: Additional Option for the SI Screen
I like the idea of an extra screen with a single stack line. But why not use the free space to show which modules are plugged in?

Re: DM41X Beta Programme
If your shift key is still yellow at the end of the beta test period, you will be severely punished by the beta police... I am just a basic user (no mcode, synthetic programming and such) but I use the DM41X several times each day. I even leave my regular calculator (HP 11C or 17Bii) at home ...
