Sold: DM41X beta unit (s/n 00005)

AFAIK there still is no "Classifieds" subforum, so I am posting this here. Since I use my DM42 for 90% of the time, I am thinking of selling my DM41X beta unit (s/n 00005). Of course it's in good condition, but it does not have the improved keyboard of the production units (but all keys re...

Re: DB48X preview release 0.5.0

That looks impressive, thanks! Do you already have an indication when ToHMS and FromHMS will be implemented?

I am thinking about printing and laminating a keymap table, which I can attach to the back of my DM42 as well.

Re: My Two Wishes Swiss Micros - Everyone reply with yours?

This comatose, ignorant and conceited junk shop is not even able to deliver its latest product DM 32 with current firmware. What are you all dreaming about? Lol... Hmm, someone stepped on your toes? I am not sure this is fair towards the team. They're only a small number of (undoubtedly) hard worki...

Re: My Two Wishes Swiss Micros - Everyone reply with yours?

1) A true multisegment display on the DMxxL calcs, like on the HP calcs. 2) A DM17Bii. I know the HP 17Bii is still easily found (I have two), but they are ageing and have the typical Pioneer LCD issues. Besides, being able to import and export equations would be wonderful. (DM17Bii, and not the DM1...

Re: Faceplate cosmetic problems

A work colleague has already laughed at me when I showed him the DM42. ;) I work from home  But seriously, the DM42 is on my desk every day, and I use it both for my work and privately (mainly finances). Besides, I have the same programs in Free42 on my phone, so (apart from the physical keybo...

Re: Faceplate cosmetic problems

I'm sorry for that. I'll send you a new faceplate for you to replace. Don't they all have that issue? The labels on mine are not centered as well, and I thought they were all like that ;) It's not a big issue for me, to be honest ... I don't intend to sell my DM42 to anyone else, so I am the only o...

Could each key store a different address in a register rather than XEQ and then do an indirect jump to that address?
Maybe a possibility, but I am not sure that improves my current code. I think I am not going to spend more time on it now :)

How about using a flag to differentiate between two alternatives?
In my case, I have five alternatives. I am going to use five different labels, and calling a common subroutine from there (with different values, of course).

Thanks @Walter and @Thomas Okken!

Program menu; key press remembered?

When I define menu keys in a program with KEYX or KEYG, are the key presses stored in a register? That means I could do something like this: "CHOICE 1" KEY 1 XEQ 01 "CHOICE 2" KEY 2 XEQ 01 ... LBL 01 <retrieve key number pressed> <do something with the key number> RTN instead of ...
