Re: Request for Links to Open in New Windows
For what it's worth and I'm not sure how universal this will be, but I just middle click on a post using my mouse wheel as a button and that opens posts in a new tab. This doesn't even need a second hand for CTRL...I use Firefox in Linux. :) Edit: I just tried it in Windows 10 with IE, and it works...

Re: Some images from (not of) Scotland
Last of the updates for this week I think. I've got rid of the two I didn't think worked well (the bubble chamber and inertial frames) and added a few more. Finally a 'Scottish' image too! https://dm42-offimg-library.s3.amazonaws.com/20180105-2%20OFFIMG.zip Ooh, the Palomino Blackwing 602. "Ha...

Re: Windows error message when Activate USB Disk
I wouldn't be concerned.
Windows works in mysterious ways, and I get the same message. Just continue without scan.

Re: DM42 Firmware V3.1 available
Hmm, only to ask, and what I vaguely remember; isn't semicolon to be used to avoid disambiguity? As in "I met with my parents; Jill and Tony" (not mine, just an example), where semicolon is used for statement that is inside one sentence. Thus no need for capital letters as if used colon? (...

Re: Relative humiditu and dew point
Wet bulb? Dry bulb? Please explain to me, who is a dim bulb! :? As explained here: "In the Olden Dayes" one used (actually, it's occationally still used today, at sea) a " Psychrometer " , which is two bulb type (spirit loaded) thermometres where one covered one of them with a s...

Re: Relative humiditu and dew point
Explanation here :) No, Eddie's program does not include wet/dry thermometer, thus "very loosely based" as mentioned. Eddie has taken the approach that you know the temperature and the RH (relative humidity), of which you can use to calculate the Dew Point. That is, how cold an object in t...

Relative humidity and dew point
My first post here and. Based very loosely on Eddie Shores Dew point program in his blog http://edspi31415.blogspot.no/2016/07/hp-42s-programming-part-ii-dew-point.html I made a bit more elaborate program. This one takes three arguments "Wet Bulb", "Dry Bulb" (thermometer) and th...
