Errors in User Manual v1.11a

1) In Section 3.1.2. Calculator Mode - SI - Refers to the HP-82162A Printer manual for meanings of printer control flags, which is incorrect. This line should be deleted, and the explanation of printer modes above should be expanded with an explanation of flag meanings as follows: MAN______Manual Pr...

Re: USB connection really flaky

I'm not sure what you mean by 'hard reset', did that include re-flashing back to the 2.0 f/w? Since these parameters started being saved to UConf, a fair amount of testing has shown that the settings are not lost, so I can't really speculate what led to the change. Re: USB connection really flaky

[snip] Oh, and one more thing I noticed that after the hard RESET to recover control of the calculator after it got disconnected, my clock had returned to the default 24 hour mode from the 12 hour (AM/PM) mode that I use. I don't recall my DM42 doing this, although it's been a long time since I hav...

Re: Getting NAME ERR when I save program raw files

I was getting lower case, i.e. AREA was entered as area. It was as if a phantom [shift] was being entered, although, I don't even know how it entered a lower case r, if it was shifted it would be a 7. This happens when the OSX_BS4X module is loaded. To change this setting, XEQ TGLC (toggle lowercas...

Re: Getting NAME ERR when I save program raw files

I no longer get extra random symbols following CAT like maybe CAT'| or the like. Also, when entering alpha characters into the alpha register, I was getting lower case, i.e. AREA was entered as area. It was as if a phantom [shift] was being entered, although, I don't even know how it entered a lowe...
