Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.20 / DM42-3.16

Hi, Do I have to upate the help file seperately? The Changelog (first post) says: "AHelp file: Added description of Free42/DM42 flags" ...when I go through the flags listing of the help file I (for example) don't find the flag, which indicates a pressed shift key prior to execute a program...

Re: Questions about handling of matrices by the DM42

Hi,

thanks for the mathematical infos ...! Now it make more sense to me.

On the other hand: If it is "math speak" to think of a matrix
as an arrangement of "vertical vectors"...why does the matrix
editor fills a matrix "horizontal direction first" then?

Cheers!

Questions about handling of matrices by the DM42

Hi, Warning! I am by no means a mathmatician! Regarding matrices: In the alphabet 'x' is before 'y'. 'x' is the horizontal direction and 'y' is the vertical direction of elements of a matrix. While entering the dimensions of a newly to be created matrix one puts its size in x-direction into the X-re...

Re: DM42: IR-receiver photodiode specs?

Hi,

oh YEAH! :)
Great informations - thanks a lot!
Despite the fact that I know photoTRANSISTORS...I didn't have thought of them in this context...nice
to be reminded of something which was forgotten to be known. ;)

Cheers!

Hi grsbanks,

thanks for your help!

...is the wavelength of the transmitter diode known, which is used for the DM42 ?

Cheers!

DM42: IR-receiver photodiode specs?

Hi,

Out of curiosity I want to build a IR-receiver with a microcontroller.
"Unfortunately" there a different IR-receiver phtodiodes available for different
parts of the IR-spectrum.

What IR-photodiode I need to buy?

Thanks a lot for any help in advance! :)

[MIN],[MAX] and [FIND]...how to?

Hi, The Free42 calculator of Thomas Okken even includes functions, which HP does not made public... :) The new Free42 version 2.50.20, which was released recently, made those easy accesible via the function catalog now...they were "hidden" previously. I tried those on my DM42 and did not g...
