Re: DM41X Beta Programme

Quick question about the clock display. On the original 41cx and the 41cl, 41c and 41cv with time module power consumption was equivalent to running a program. What can one expect running the clock instead of turning it off with respect to battery life? No, the real HP-41 goes to sleep between the ...

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

I am simply afraid that the physical calculator will break. Paranoid perhaps, but that's what I mean. Ah! ok, I understand now. On my side, to handle the case of hardware failure, I have bought several replacement units. I second this, get a spare or two (or be prepared to get a replacement later),...

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

The best place to get up-to-date ROM images is Systemyde (41CL) Update Archive web page. Re: DM41X Alternative key layout

Will DM41X customers be mainly : - HP41 users that will not find the same screen but still ask for same exact keyboard 🤔 - DM42 users or NEW users interested in a modern HP41CX that will accept DM42 or any keyboard 👍 I am in the second category... and will be happy with a "close to DM42" ...

Re: 43S News

The keyboard is still wrong, when is it going to be fixed? The arithmetic keys are on the left side, but in the wrong order. Either you follow the illogical classic style (like HP-41) as we old people have muscle memory, or you make it logical. You do not mix the two, simple as that. If you want to ...

Re: 43S News

Regarding the order of operators, however: As mentioned earlier already, nobody could and can explain the odd sequence [÷], [×], [+], [‒] anymore so far, not even the old heroes on the other forum. I'm sure there has been a reason also for this but noone remembers and I can't imagine. So for the ti...
