Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Did you already buy it yet ... ... Either way ... Thank you very much! I have it already. Whichever way we need it, on whichever TTF font or glyph, it can be used for the calc. I wanted it any way because I had too much manual work done on the previous calculator. Free tools often only bring one to...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Did you already buy it yet ... because you may not have had to. I've got a professor friend who teaches AutoCAD to engineering students at the the university, and an Dept Head friend at the local collge where I taught (she's Graphic Design) ... they will both have their own copies of the AutoCAD Vec...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Switched the font over to the Neue Haas Grotesk Bold, and bumped up the size by 15%. I have to say, it was a little disappointing ... the calculator started looking like a Christmas tree … no point in going any further here. Open the link below and have a look. It’s pretty obvious that any potential...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

I found an interesting phenomenon ... Maybe it's me, pushing my Haas again, but maybe it is indeed more legible. I'd like more critical opinions on legibility, not beauty or origin. There are indeed real limitations encountered ... Making critical judgements, especially the important subtle ones, b...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

The presumption is that we all like Layout 1, as we haven't heard complaints on Layout 1 for a while. The challenge is, Is Layout 1 is the ultimate keyboard according to my goals? Or is the challenger more practical. LEFT is LAYOUT 1 RIGHT is the challenger LAYOUT 1A Thoughts? I quite like the chal...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Thank you gentlemen. I just now got back to the computer ... downloaded as many of the Frutiger fonts as I could find (they are pretty nice, a good choice as well), and installed the whole lot including the elusive Neue Haak Grotesk. Now finally able to dial right in on this with precision. No compr...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Am really chasing my tail here trying to get the NHG bold fonts as suggested. I'll keep looking though. Of course, one can always purchase them ... but they're pretty pricey being popular in the commercial print world. But didn't HP predominantly employ versions of Helvetica ... to the point where t...
