Re: T+X, CLK24/CLK12, MDY/DMY and settings menu.

Yes: 1) T+X would be wonderful and my first choice due to programmability. 2) SETTIME and SETDATE would be a close second. 3) barring that a much easier and intuitive setting menu using the plus and minus functions for each sett8ng as described earlier. Walter: I am working on routines which include...

Re: T+X, CLK24/CLK12, MDY/DMY and settings menu.

OUCH, ;) But still, any thoughts on the setting menu? During a test run of a routine I moved the clock one hour (23:00 to 00:00) ahead which took the date and day with it. To return to the correct time was twenty three +1h pushes forward followed by thirty +1d key presses. T+X would have fixed this ...

Re: T+X, CLK24/CLK12, MDY/DMY and settings menu.

It’s fantastic. Had my wife call me when I was scheduled to walk through security. Lots of laughs, but yes, it does everything a Bluetooth ear piece does and more. I keep the phone in the flight bag, and the communicator in my suit pocket. Had to add the opening beep as a ringtone in the phone. Down...

Re: T+X, CLK24/CLK12, MDY/DMY and settings menu.

Oh no, not another book thread  Trekkies, mia culpa, I went to a convention ONCE, IN 1986. Bought a basic communicator prop from TOS. Went to the hardware store and purchased a one minute recording device which I installed In the communicator. Added a micro switch and ran it on an n cell. I...

T+X, CLK24/CLK12, MDY/DMY and settings menu.

Without the T+X function I have to use flags and subroutines to emulate the function. During the testing I set the day ahead and the time ahead. Since there is no -1h due to the CLK24/CLK12 function in settings menu and no -1d due to the DMY/MDY also in the settings menu I constantly have to move th...

Re: DM42 Firmware V3.2 available

Interesting, my Windows 10, with latest updates, norton security Lenovo laptop has had no USB issues.

Could it be the driver info on the calc being corrupted?

Re: Hardware: but not an issue ;-)

Here is the HP 35 pouch I am using: I took the dm user manual and converted it to text. Added my custom programs to it. Modified and removed some of the text to suit my needs. Then created the QRG you see here. Also included the QRG for the HP 42s. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f96/geoff_q/DAB86...

Re: DM42 Firmware V3.2 available

:? Oh no, another book thread... I have one, not quite complete though :? . Used it to restore an early HP 35 calculator with ln 2.02 bug yesterday. YouTube of the restored 35 with ln bug: https://youtu.be/kt5GPKwG6K0 Must say, instructions are well written but not yet at the “Walter” standar...
