Re: Encoder/decoder

It doesn't support uploading program listings in text files, so you have to select and copy the text (e.g. from a text editor) and paste it into the "DM42 Listing" text box of the decoder/encoder page. Egads -- it never crossed my mind that anyone would ever want to do that! I mean, how much quicke...

Is there a setting I’m missing that takes text files of program listings and encodes them?

Re: 43S News

Consider a pared down, cleaner aesthetic. Consider no letter ... at all. It seems funny to include arrows when the labels aren't arranged left and right. The shift buttons could be recognized by color alone! If anything, I'd use an up arrow since the gold functions are above the key and a down arro...

Re: PDF of DM42 Quick Reference Guide

The company that is hosting the file at the link earlier in this thread is discontinuing their public cloud offering. Therefore, we can expect that the file will no longer be available soon. Since there haven’t been any updates on this topic for a year, I’ll assume that no one is going to be upset ...

Re: 43S News

With reference to last week's discussions on polls, left/right and operator sequence, my comment is simply to be extremely grateful to the developers. Also that it is done in open source. I propose not to argue with the developers on their choices, but simply motivate or ask as potential user for c...

I apologize if my comment came across as disrespectful. It was not meant to be. It was meant to be an affectionate jab at my fellow "Nerds".
I wore a calculator on my belt in the 70's and 80's as well.
We were all taking it in good fun. I know I was!

Re: Leather Case for DM42

I have recently found a very nice leather case for the DM42. A robust & well made leather holder with belt loop. It is an Australian Buckaroo Leatherworks MPPX case. Hey, now I can wear my calculator on my belt again. Just like back in the '70s when I was a nerd! WAS a Nerd?! You say that like it i...
