Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

Was the last sentence written with [irony/on] ? ;) Else please explain. What should I explain, Walter? :? My board (and also some other's, from what I read) didn't exhibit surge drain. With that fix (after reports from others, evidently) my calculator very quickly drains off those tiny cells. Ok, t...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

DMCP v3.9 : 2018/08/01 Small number of boards exhibited excessive power-off current - fixed Seems logical that what hampered a few boards drains a few other. Was the last sentence written with [irony/on] ? ;) Else please explain. What should I explain, Walter? :? My board (and also some other's, fr...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

I have the same issue. The strange thing is that when it got delivered it lasted 6 Months or so. The only thing which changes is that I started to have some programs loaded onto the FAT drive. Like the DICE program. And that I changed the settings on time/date and font-size. I guess that also in te...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

I will take care of that, once at home. I won't hold my breath though since I don't see anything about power drain issues. As anticipated nothing changed about power drain. From 2.92V to 2.83V in a matter of minutes. Slowly recovering (now 2.85V) after downgrading to 3.8 + 3.9.1 Is it draining and ...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.11 / DM42-3.11

The update went flawlessly. I can confirm the bugs with y^x and ÷ are fixed. I can not relate about the battery consumption though as I didn't had the problem. I will take care of that, once at home. Re: Battery life

There are a few units out in the wild that the fix didn't.. well... fix. In our units there was nothing to fix , and the "fix" actually disrupted them. :( I would advise you to get in touch with michael@swissmicros.com for what to do next. I did, but after an initial ACK with his generic advice to ...

See this message above (viewtopic.php?p=9071#p9049)

However, there are multiple benchmarks available so we need to get clarification from Mark regarding which benchmark it is that he used.
I just wish I could try any benchmark on a 3.10/3.10 calc...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.10 / DM42-3.10

What's strange is that it all began with: Mine seems to be the only board with the reverse attitude... We've actually got a handful of machines like this now. David has them and is looking for a software solution. Now that he has them physically in his hands, he can diagnose the problem. Is D...
