Re: DM42 skin for the Free42 simulator
@ Mr StreakyCobra Thanks a lot, your last update following Mr Okken's advice is a pure delight. A very nice gift indeed to start these 2020's on the right computing foot. Nice work ! @ Mr Thomas Okken I suspect that some of the readers may have now the same idea(s)/interrogation(s) which come to my...

Re: Constants
I agree with you but still the DM42's alpha register doesn't provide a lot of space and I had to proceed thoroughly and rapidly (and, BTW "km" was a joke !).

Re: Constants
Yes (almost, considering units conversion), to answer your last question about the coefficient (see point 1 of the EDIT at the end of my last post).

Re: Constants & local variable management
@Walter . Thanks Mr. Walter for your immediate and clear answer. Always appreciated. Concerning the topic of physical constants availability, I already recognized their introduction since the summer release of your first “Pre-alpha version 2019.06” prototype of the 43S emulator (whose design is out...

Re: Physical constants & related questions
@Walter . You are indeed right; the zip format was useless for my last program sharing, in my yesterday's post! (see https://forum.swissmicros.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=271#p12446) Thanks anyway, Mr Walter , for your encouragement to my more down to earth contribution. I am wondering about what ...

Re: Physical constants - with units & description
NEW: PHYSICAL CONSTANTS with units & short descriptions conform to last official SI revisions (2019) Here is my latest (quite longer) version of the former program with this new desirable feature of showing explicitly (through the alpha register) at the same time both physical units and a very ...

Re: Local variables & partial stack preservation
For an interesting application of LSTO to realise a temporary partial preservation of the stack before any intermediate calculation see my working example of nov 12 at https://forum.swissmicros.com/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=271#p12423. For the purpose of calculating some new quantity (ending in the X...

Re: state file sharing
As I already stated (see my comments of Wed Oct 30 in https://forum.swissmicros.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1816&start=470), I completely agree with this official request of state file sharing possibilities between DM42 and Free42 (or at least to access a simple method to convert between the two...

Re: Constants - local variables - stack save
UPDATE OF PHYSICAL CONSTANTS & calculations with SAVED STACK using LOCAL VARIABLES (The following work is also relevant for LSTO illustrations and Local Stack Save examples) My goal was initially to make a simple exhaustive update of 42 physical constants (including some simple calculations of ...
