Re: Feature requests

Add the greek alphabit as an additional option. When you are in alpha mode, make some type of key combination put the greek letters (alpha beta etc) on the soft menu. Almost every equation I use has one of those characters. Look at the WP34S for a way to realize this. Btw, Greek is pre-binary ;) :o

Re: Feature requests

... I'd love an option that makes the ALL display mode less aggressive about switching to scientific notation. Casio calculators, for example, usually have "Norm1" and "Norm2" display modes that behave differently in this regard. For instance, if I calculate 1/27, I'd rather see ".03703703704" than...

The screen has 240 x 400 pixels. Anything what fits in this area is possible in principle. Each pixel is 0.147 mm square.

Hp41 was the best, do not change anything.
Maybe that's the answer. If someone could shove the 41 CX rom into the DM42, then we could be reassigning keys and manually typing in functions like it was 1979.
May I ask you for a little bit of patience?

Re: Landscape DM42?

The original discussion is here: https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-12693-post-114162.html#pid114162 The 3 SST variations seen in Thomas' screen shot probably correlate with the types discussed in the thread, but I'm not sure which is which as the exact labels differ. No matter though as the poi...

I'm not sure that the above is a type, but I hope it is ;). (I'm expecting my DM42 to arrive next week.)
Thanks for reporting. :)
Though I'm sure that the above type is a typo (if you're correcting, watching your own writing is recommended). ;)

Re: Landscape DM42?

These have been discussed a lot lately (though mostly at MoHPC) as new features (the 2nd is new, the first had a minor name change to clarify the difference) for Free42, and they are Step-Into and Step-Over respectively. Step into is the classic SST that will traverse down into a subroutine, Step-O...

Re: Landscape DM42?

Ummm, maybe you might want to kindly take a look at that picture in my post, which, in your rush to point out the dumbest possible interpretation of what I wrote, you apparently didn't have time to inspect... Yeah, but what, oh great master, shall SST^ and SST-> do?? Noone explained so far. There m...

Re: Landscape DM42?

Presumably Thomas meant as compared to the 42s which has only 37 keys :) Thanks. May be, may be not. Anyway, the second question is definitly open still. "Maybe, maybe not"? Are you really insinuating I don't know how many keys are on the DM42? That's across the line between being an annoying smart...
