A dream must be just a dream. I do not agree, a dream can (or even must) become reality! ;) You may have to be patient, (I got my first HP-IL devices 3 years ago and then an HP-41C with HP-IL controller only 2 years after). And I hope that at one time or another some IlPer features will come to DM4...
Received mine three weeks ago, SN:00016 but I didn't have much time to play with it. At the beginning, I did not find certain keys very reliable but it gets much better after a few days of use. I have not yet noticed the blackening of the shift key, but its color is less pleasant than that of my DM4...
