Re: Keyboard debouncing

Well I will say this... I just did the procedure to loosen up the keys... WOW what a difference... Maybe that will help with my bounce problems.

I did not know the keyboard code was closed source. OK. At least I know there is nothing I can do about it :) :(

Re: Keyboard debouncing

So getting back to the topic :)

Does anyone think there is anything we can do to fix the keyboard bouncing problem? I am thinking it can be addressed in software and I am trying to figure out if anyone else thinks it is worth working on.... of if I am the only one that is plagued by it :)

Re: Key Bounce

Well unfortunately I've now made a number of calculation mistakes b/c of the keybounce issue. Anyone firmware folks out there feel like working with me to implement a solution? :)

Re: Key Bounce

HI Dave, really this key bounce thing is my only issue with this amazing calculator. I keep getting bit by it.

Do you have any idea if this is high on any developers list?

Key Bounce

Hello, I occasionally get a key bounce on the DM42. Does anyone know if the debounce timer settings can be adjusted somehow? I suspect not but wanted to ask :) I love my DM42

Re: Question on solver programs vs regular programs

Hmmm,,,, I'll have to try something then when I get a sec.

Are you saying if the first line is not MVAR then it wont show up in the Solver or Integrator menu? That would be a decent feature that I did not know about... I'll play around...

Re: Question on solver programs vs regular programs

I guess to clarify... I know how to write the two different programs... just not how to keep them best organized and denoted in the menus... so far I do something like s_myPgm to denote that it should be run with the solver... but this eats up precious space...

Question on solver programs vs regular programs

Hello,

All these years I've been a little befuddled about how to specify whether a program is a solver program or a regular (xeq) program.

Does anyone have a good way to keep things straight in this regard?

Thanks for your thoughts! :)

Re: % Character ?

Thank you for your kind reply. Thanks very much. Here is a snippet. This is the mode that Alpha input starts with when entered for the first time. "[a]" denotes low...
