Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.14 / DM42-3.14

I'm noticing some issues with two-key rollover responsiveness in 3.14. For example, try typing 150 really fast, and there's a good chance the 0 will be missed. I don't recall having this issue with 3.13. Anybody else seeing this? The reworked keyboard code shouldn't have any effect on that specific...

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.14 / DM42-3.14

The whole point of a small dedicated premium manufacturer like SwissMicros is that they should do a much better job of updating their products than sluggish corporate behemoths like HP, which has only one product (HP Prime) that gets any attention at all, and only because of one dedicated person (T...

RTC Calibration program

This program allows you to calculate the RTC calibration value to store in the \rtccalib.cfg file in your DM42's FAT drive. Before running this program you'll first have to set the time correctly on your calculator and then wait a week or more to allow some drift to happen. The longer you wait to re...

Re: Store and Recall extra steps

Note that CLST doesn't clear the L register. To do that as well, just insert an appropriate operator to use the '0' in X:

Code: Select all

LBL "CLAL"
CLRG
CLST
+
END

We, old DOS users, came before any linux user. 8-)
DOS? That didn't even exist when I started working with computers. Most of my work at the time was on CP/M80 systems.

Re: Encoder/decoder

Depending upon the size of the program, uploading as a text file could be easier. Outside of that, what functions do the “choose file” and “upload” buttons serve? What file type(s) are expected? The size of the text file makes no difference to how easy it is to copy and paste. Unless you're using p...
