I don’t use Windows so I can’t use Chromium.
I beg to differ...

Heretics! Emacs FTW!!!

Not that I actually use either Emacs or vi... I tend to use nano.

Do not use Firmware V30 for DM1x/41

A problem in V30 firmware for the DM1x and DM41 models has been identified. The problem causes excessive load on the battery, which is depleted far sooner than it should be. Investigations are under way to determine the cause of this problem, but in the meantime we recommend that you downgrade to V2...

Re: Deleting the .END. (maybe)

Why would you want that?
To boost the speed, maybe?

If the DM42 is powered by USB, the CPU's clock gets bumped up from 25MHz to 80MHz.

Re: [DM15] Aeronautical Calculations

France adopted the metric system in 1795, so that's 225 years ago.

Germany, however, did so in 1872 according to Wikipedia, so that is only 148 years ago... Looks like Walter's clock has a drift of 52/148 years, so that's just over 350000 ppm.

Re: DM 48 .... WHY NOT ?!!!

I seriou...

Re: DM16L STATUS and SHOW buttons, ALSO strange glyph

These buttons are not behaving as they do on an HP. Instead of holding the buttons down you have to click them and then the STATUS or BASE is displayed for about a second. Does anyone know if this is deliberate? That's exactly how my HP-16C behaves. The requested display stays on-screen for about a...

Re: Use the IR of DM42(or any HP calculator) for commercial IR?

Replicating 3 years of work and creating a new operating system just to get the DM42 to behave as a remote control seems like a lot of effort to me!
