Re: 43S News

Looked through the dm 43 manual today. Looks really good. Maybe I'll check out the emulator again to see the recent progress.

Re: DMCP 3.19

That link no longer works. But I managed to get 3.20, so thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Re: DMCP 3.19

Where is 3.19? On the website they just have 3.18 released in March.

Re: 43S News

I am running linux mint so I tried to install in windows 7 64 bit in a VM. Why trying to use Windows in a VM? It's a lot easier to run it with Linux! You have to install the standard development tools, git, gtk+ 3 dev, and libgmp dev packages. Then, the first time, simply run: git clone https://git...

Re: 43S News

Thanks for answering my questions. I spent a bit of time looking through the code, I do remember reading a function named Taylor series somewhere in the code. I bet if I could understand everything in this project, I would learn quite a bit about C. I recently created a C/OpenGL physics simulation, ...

Re: 43S News

I was looking at the WP43 code. It looks like it is written in C. I was looking at the functions, for example, "cos.c". I am not a professional programmer by any means, though I am curious how you are doing this. The only thing you #include is a reference to the wp34s file. None of these files conta...

Re: 43S News

I've been using the DM42 for a while now. I really like it. But I also want this DM43. How far along is the software? I've downloaded the software beta but many functions are not yet implemented, even though they are picture or explained in the documentation. I'm just curious. I also own the WP34. I...

Re: Who uses the 43S simulator under Windows, Linux, or on a Mac?

How to install this under Manjaro? The easiest way: * install git: majaro is arch based IIRC so run pacman -S git * install gmp if not already installed: pacman -S gmp * navigate to a freshly created directory for WP43S * run git clone https://gitlab.com/Over_score/wp43s.git * run make rebuild * ru...

Re: The DM42 is not able to calculate 42.. ;-)

It's probably possible to calculate this on the dm42 you'd just have to write an arbitrary precision program, then calculate it.

Assuming the problem is related to precision.
