Re: What is the max material thickness that fits in the slots on the DM42 (for faceplates)?
The nice thing about the HP41 approach is that not only are the stock slots more generous they are large enough to accommodate 2 overlays stacked. The HP41 was shipped with a blank customizable overlay and one that was the same as the stock faceplate. This allowed the stock overlay to be used on top...

Re: New "HP"-15C Collectors Edition
My thoughts a someone coming new to the great collection of RPN calculators. My first was a new HP45 when it was first introduced and I was a student. It served me well for years until I got an HP41. For me as a civil engineer, this was a perfect calculator. There was a great group of users and an H...

Re: .raw files for all / most / any HP 41 rom images?
Yeah, make sense about the printer calls. I'm a reasonable HP-41 programmer but from my skill set this is an advanced MOD. It doesn't run from a straight forward perspective. But that said I have found several raw files that are structural engineering files but each program does a part of what is in...

Re: .raw files for all / most / any HP 41 rom images?
Thx Thomas for the guidance. The MOD that I am converting is the Structural Analysis Pac MOD. It is an X-ROM which may complicate things. Anyway below is the report I got back. The converted file does run. Anyway, if you can provide some insight great but don't spend any time on it. Clearly if I rea...

Re: .raw files for all / most / any HP 41 rom images?
I would like to convert some of the HP-41 MOD's for use with my DM-42. I export the MOD file from the iOS emulator i41CX+ I then use Windows to open this MOD file with the rom2raw.exe application. It seems to work fine but where does it put the raw files? I realize this is a simpleton question but I...

Re: DM42 (DM41X) 3D Printable Keyboard Stencil
Has anyone printed one of these? Report, how did it work and fit. For years I used the Structural PAC, the overlay is essential, IMO. Using that PAC on DM41X requires a cheat sheet.

DM17L Concept Idea
A very interesting idea
https://youtu.be/FYBLnM5D2KU
It would be even more interesting if it incorporated some of the build, quality, and connectivity enhancements of the DM42 and DM41X.
And don’t forget “pi”

Re: DM41L - Function and Alpha Keys
The alpha key continue to disappear - initially started on the bottom row and now kinda everywhere. Is this unique? Common to all SM Voyager Series? Does it impact their DM42 and DM41X units?

Support-Quality-Warranty
Hi First I am not bitching and realize that SM is a small company with a big interesting vision, which I support. I was just about to order a DM42 when I noticed that my recently purchased DM41L has a "disappearing alpha keyboard." I have no idea how many units SM is shipping but my s/n is...
