Re: Useful Content for the "Ultimative OFFIMG"

Great! I just have to turn my calculator on and off again until I get to the month I want! :) Well, since it's an annual calendar, that could be a lot of on/off cycles. OTOH, every on/off cycle gets you to all the months, so just once. Great enhancements deetee, really nice work, requiring a LOT of...

[quote=Jaymos post_id=12541 time=1574740506 user_id=936 Thank you, but this points to a DM42 image, not to a Windows simulator. [/quote] Sorry about that Jaymos, I did not read your note closey enough. I had just been on that page minutes before and thought I had somehow just seen the answer to your...

Where do I get a new simulator to play with?

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

This discussion/meandering think-tank is indeed both interesting and productive. I like both sets of ideas, obviously for differing reasons, but I'd caution against mixing them, as in my experience multiple simultaneous 'non-standard' sets of UI controls tends to confuse nearly all users. So I'd imp...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Let me try: Assuming "hold" represents the amount of time which distinguishes between a normal (short) press and a long one. Then: Press + release = execute FN (the normal, short press function) Press + hold + release = execute f(FN) Press + hold + hold + release = execute g(FN) Press + hold + hold...

Re: Useful Content for the "Ultimative OFFIMG"

This works, but... oh my poor eyes! :shock: Thanks Massimo! I can barely read this on my PC screen, it will be a chuckle to try reading it on my DM42, but I'll give it a go... What's the secret on how you were able to convert it? Was it as simple as copy/paste? Update: Wow, it is brutally small, bu...

Re: Useful Content for the "Ultimative OFFIMG"

Wow, a very impressive undertaking and result!! Thank you for your notable efforts! I've never found a way to reduce the color bit depth without loss, as far as I know you must start with the 1-bit color depth (b&w). However since you certainly don't want to do that again (!!) you might try to creat...

Re: Useful Content for the "Ultimative OFFIMG"

That's kind of you deetee, but I'm not a guru of any kind, I simply have loved HP machines since the 70's, still collect and use them, and am louder than most folks. No, it is not worth it to create the full view, your sample image above shows that it is more technically possible than it would be us...
