Yesterday my DM42 was blocked, the bottom half of the screen was not completely drawn and...nothing happens with the keyboard. Maybe the battery...? Displayed voltage was around 2.9 V though. I connected the USB cable, DM42 was alive again. This gave my the opportunity to save a "state", o...

Right - the absolute height of the digits is not my (personal) problem. As I wrote it's the combination of font, height and four of these lines on that beautiful, high-resolving screen, which (again) imho feels like a waste and does not please my eye. But that's just me. Maybe sweet for the old eye...

RPN may be a thing of the past. Nevertheless, using the stack to calculate always remains pleasant and efficient, also in RPL.

Late, update is done.
I lost some settings, I forgot to save a State before . No damage though.
I like this machine more and more. This is an Elegant machine, and so nice to work/play with.

Reading the manual of these machines (f.e. 15C) was already 50% of pleasure and discovery. We could already dream and imagine being a great scientist, engineer and master of complicated calculations
