Re: Command line calculator applications

What CLI apps are out there for calculators, particularly with RPN support? I am aware of bc and dc (the latter supports RPN input). Yes, Craig Bladow is working on it since a few years with NQ41 and CC41. Have a look here (https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-9616.html), and here (https://www.you...

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

I've successfully been using Leo Duran's User-Code File Converter (HP41UC.exe) to convert .txt to .raw. I've not run into any problems on the DM41X yet. The utility is available on Warren's site at http://www.hp41.org/LibView.cfm?Command=View&ItemID=32. Thanks Mark!, I downloaded the source cod...

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

I can enter a program on the DM41X, save it to flash as a raw file, upload it to http://dm41.swissmicros.com/, decode it and get the text of the program. Going the other direction, starting with a text program file, does not seem to be as straight forward. The only choice after pasting in the text o...

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

Bob, I'm referring to the SM DM--41X module which is shown under "Manage modules in Flash" menu. It is not listed in the "Active Modules" menu as plugged in and you are allowed to attempt to plug it in and then get an error. The explanation posted is that this is the OS module. I...

CAT 2 —> it is already there.

But related to that? What is the purpose of LKAON and LKAOFF?
I saw the entry in CAT 2 but wouldn't it be more clear to list the module as active and plugged in?

Re: DM41X Beta Programme

Received mine today! :) I successfully plugged in the Thermal Printer Module but there is a "SM DM-41X" in the "Manage Modules in Flash" area. Attempting to plug in this module gives the error, "Cannot add another OS Module". What does this module do? How does one plug ...

Re: 3D printed DM42 stand

If you are interested in the 3d printed case for the DM42, send me a PM with your email address for more information.

I believe this case is the first accessory DM42.

Re: 3D printed DM42 stand

Looks good. How does it hold up under abuse, drops while open and closed, case opening and closing, hinge reliability? What price would there be on a porduction model? This is the very first prototype so durability and reliability in various situations is not known. The intent of my design is somet...
