Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C
I successfully compile/run the C43 simulator on linux. As a Linux user, I will appreciate a bit of direction on how you did this. After cloning the git repository, I simply went into the directory and did a "make". I later on learned I had to do "make rebuild" command instead. H...

Re: Broken key
Oddly enough, after trying all my keys, the same '3/PGM.FCN' key on my new DM42 also feels loose when pressed on the right hand side and flops to the right. No other key does it on mine.

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Now I'm trying to build my own firmware, using the scripts in DMCP_build, which I'm working my way through.
My question is how do I build the pgm files for L1 vs L42 keyboard layout, and does the default scripts produce the L1 or L42 layout?

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C
Wow, after mucking around with the simulators, the C43 layout and use is so much more intuitive than the Wp43S layout. I suppose that could be I’ve been using my HP42s for nearly 30 years. Although I do have a Wp 31S and that thing is super easy to use. Since I picked up a DM42, the 31S has gone to...

Received my DM42 today, SN 06811 My children knew I had been waiting for "Calculator Day" for some time now, so they were also excited for the unboxing. Looks and feels great! The metal back makes the DM42 feel like a solid tool. Now I can finally take my HP-15C Limited Edition off my desk...
