Re: CAS (Calculator Aquisistion Syndrome)
I'm sure it is cheaper to buy a calculator then to find a psychiatrist to get you of CAS

Hacking the DM1x hardware
In one of the threads there is a request/discussion going on regarding schematics of the SwissMicros calculators. The only reason for this i can imagine is for hacking the hardware. Being a embedded guy of course i was triggered, but i found on the DM15 - CPU there are not to much free pins left for...

Re: Deleting the .END. (maybe)
I still don't understand.
Same situation here .END. in catalog, can't delete it.
So indeed i called the program editor, which indeed contained an empty program, I added LBL "AAA",
Then CLEAR -> CLP -> AAA and checked again.
The little creep is still there. Why ?

Re: How did you discover SwissMicros?
Dave Jones (EEVBLOG) tries the DM42
Guess that was the best SwissMicros marketing ever !
First tried Free42 on my phone and computers but soon i ordered my first SwissMicros, obviously a DM-42
Not cheap, but certainly worthwhile !

Re: Calculators have Soul!
Hi amafan, With 55 just a younster here. My DM-42 makes me lyric and certainly is threated like a baby. Being an electronics/firmware engineer it's probarly overkill, but next to being a good and easy calculator it is a nice toy it you like to fiddle with the programming functions, which i sometimes...

Thanks for the links, solves half of my challenge.
I'll give it a schot and than try thge same on an FPGA.
Target: I want to use the calculator to calculate firtaps that i directly can feed into a FIR-bandpass-filter.
Usecase: none other than keep me off the street

Re: Questions from a new dm15L owner
Why not get both? And a 43 too. ;) So i bought both a DM42 and a DM15L. While i like the DM15L more on my desk for quick calculations, i'm not to enthousiastic about programming on it. The DM42 is way more comfy if you do more complex calculations or programming (both thanks to the large display an...
