Re: Use the IR of DM42(or any HP calculator) for commercial IR?

Thanks for the links, solves half of my challenge.
I'll give it a schot and than try thge same on an FPGA.

Target: I want to use the calculator to calculate firtaps that i directly can feed into a FIR-bandpass-filter.

Usecase: none other than keep me off the street

Re: Questions from a new dm15L owner

Why not get both? And a 43 too. ;) So i bought both a DM42 and a DM15L. While i like the DM15L more on my desk for quick calculations, i'm not to enthousiastic about programming on it. The DM42 is way more comfy if you do more complex calculations or programming (both thanks to the large display an...

Re: Use the IR of DM42(or any HP calculator) for commercial IR?

Although i own a HP82240, I'm experimenting to create a RedEye to serial interface using eighter a microcontroller or an FPGA (trying both paths)
The Idea is to hookup small ticket printers i found in my junkbox.
It'l take some time to get results but if you are interested i'll drop some posts later.

DM15L FIX, SCI,ENG, ALL ?

On the DM42 i can select the DISP mode All which basically automatically selects a popper number presentation mode.
Is there a way to do the same on the DM15L ?

What does it mean ?

On top of the display just below the statusbar with Date, Time and Battery condition there is a line showing a small 1 in reverse.
No idea what it means, I obviously have missed this in de manual.

Re: STO - RCL Size Error

To get further i resetted the calculator which (as you might expected) solved the issue.
I do not remember deleting a matrix but i'm a real noob on the machine.
If it happens again i'll check.
Thanks.

Re: Thoughts on DM42 User Manual

Have been looking to find an original HP-42 manual... no go for a reasonable price (got some for the HP-41 though)
I sure would love to have a complete manual since indeed i'm missing a lot of info.
If you mean a real paper manual, i'm in.
