Re: buttons that don't register well
I applied Logan's treatment to my DM 42 yesterday and I'm very much pleased with the results. The usability of the keyboard is much improved.
So thanks a lot!

Re: Stand alone Encoder/Decoder
You can use the Free42 to convert code from txt to raw and vice versa. Copy the code from the editor to the clipboard, switch to program mode in Free42 and paste the code. After this you can export the code to a Raw file. This works also the other way round from raw to txt.

Re: A couple additional functions that would be cool to have
I have two proposals for additional functionality: For the DM-42: Since my program directory gets crowded more and more I have to scroll a lot until I get to the desired entry. I would like to have a keyboard search similar to that implemented in the WP-34S: Pressing a key brings you to the first en...

The Great Wave off Kanagawa
Here's the The Great Wave off Kanagawa by the Japanese artist Hokusai. It's one of my favourites. I hope you'll like it, too.

Re: Constants
Hello grsbanks, Thanks for programming the constants library. I like it very much. I have updated the constants from the latest CODATA set (2015). See attached listing. I hope that they will be useful for somebody else. 00 { 1069-Byte Prgm } 01▸LBL "CONST" 02▸LBL A 03 "c" 04 KEY ...

Re: GETKEY/PSE Waiting time
The GETKEY now takes ~1.4 s at 48 MHz and ~5.6 s at 12 MHz. The PSE delay is 1.4 s for both settings. The nominal values according to the manual are: 10 s (GETTKEY) and 1 s (PSE). Here is a short program to measure the delay in s: LBL "T" LBL 01 TIME GETKEY TIME RCL Z - 1E4 * RTN LBL 02 LB...

Bug in global LBL generation on dm41.swissmicros.com
There seems of be a bug in the generation of the first global label generation. The first global LBL in RAM should have a byte code of the structure "c0 00 fn 00 <n-chars>". The three zero nybbles after the C denote the byte distance to the previous global LBL. In case of the first LBL, th...
