Re: My DM42 Is lost

And I received today my classic boards from teenix, after a 70 days trip from Australia. :? I ordered a HP-67 board from Teenix well before the pandemic restrictions, and the delay was already 24 days. Unfortunately, my board never worked correctly, and I had to return it to Australia. :( I don't e...

Re: My DM42 Is lost

I received today the MoHPC USB flash drive. So it took exactly 9 weeks to cross the Atlantic… USPS utilizes boats: "The Postal Service will utilize sea transportation to address the issue of limited air transportation resulting from widespread flight cancellations and restrictions due to COVID-19. Re: My DM42 Is lost

Obviously, shipments from China to Europe are more efficient than from the US.
I've received today a small parcel sent one month ago from China, but I'm still waiting for the MoHPC flash drive, ordered 7 weeks ago. I suspect the problem comes from USPS…

Re: My DM42 Is lost

Last month I've ordered to the MoHPC the USB flash drive. It was sent 5 weeks ago. I have not received it yet.
I live in France. Usually, letters and parcels from the US take 10 to 15 days.

Re: Rapid wear with shift key

One other solution would be to leave both keys black and print a yellow/blue rectangle on the overlay above these keys. I was about to suggest the same idea! Even with painted keys, these colored rectangles would be helpful in case on wear of the paint after several years of use. I wonder if blue l...

Re: buttons that don't register well

PS ... makes one wonder how many others out there (world-wide) are also reluctantly sitting on their money, really wanting to purchase, but ... I am in this situation. I know the response of some members here: only a small percentage of DM42 users has a problem with the keyboard, the vast majority ...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Thanks in advance for any considered views you might be able to share. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1t0pIrkL3qj1PdGHNlydjL7MxvED0YzNV 1. Personally, I don't like borders. But I'm looking at the renderings on my screen, so those who have printed these images have a more valid opinion than me. 2....

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Since I don't own a DM42, I've displayed to scale the last image of the DM43C, along with the DM42 and the HP50g. I'm surprised to see how small the DM 42/43 is. On the DM43C, the labels look really tiny! I'm afraid that the nice renderings posted above will be disappointing on the real calculator. ...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

I would really like input from everyone as to the idea of shaded menu items as opposed to underlined. Here are my comments: 1. I don't like the underlined labels. 2. The color of the background for the shaded labels should be darker. Only a subtle change is necessary to be visible, since these rect...

Re: Feature requests

Since the release of the DM42, I read continuously complaints about the keyboard :(
I don't plan to buy this calculator because of these recurrent and unsolved keyboard problems.
SwissMicros, if you read this: you are losing potential buyers!
