Question about updating the firmware on the DM42 calc.
Hi everyone I have a question about firmware updating the DM42 calculator. Does the update leave the calculator to factory defaults after the update has been applied? Because I have a lot of loaded programs, customizations and functions, which it will take quite a time to manually restore to their o...

Re: DM42 arrived today! Stack layout?
Try also reading the user manual for the HP 15C calculator, section 3 page 32 about the automatic memory stack. There is a very good illustration on how the memory stack works, and lifting and dropping is explained very well with fine examples. The HP manuals not only explaines the calculator functi...

YACC
Hi everyone!
One thing that comes to my mind, are those strange UNIX abbreviations. I have converted one of them to an Offline Image for the DM42.

Re: Pricing calculations
Hello Bob
In Denmark the tax is 25% - so using the margin as 20% to calculate tax is ok for this purpose.
Not generally of course - you are absolutely right in that point.
Sorry for confusing you.
With kind regards
Peter

Pricing calculations
Hello everyone :) I am trying to write a program for calculating Selling Price (PRC) Cost (CST) Margin (MAR) and Markup (MU) MU is defined as the difference between PRC and CST, divided by CST. MAR is defined as the difference between PRC and CST, divided by PRC. That is: Markup is based on Cost and...

Hello Werner
Trying to encode the program throws this error: "Invalid number format in line 01"
I found out, that it is the character, that is between the line number and the instruction that has to be deleted.
Everything is ok now.
With kind regards
Peter
