Re: DM41X v1.11t08: 2020-03-30
Just updated, no issues. Really like the module map. Really helps with figuring out which port the module is plugged into and identifying conflicts. Thanks.

Re: DM41X Beta Programme
Minor issue. Dialog displayed while in USB write mode states "Press EXIT key to end". Need to change as there is no "EXIT" key.

Re: Cannot program byte grabber
@jwhsu - Have you tried with NO modules installed, as the instructions recommend? It is possible that having the printer module installed affects the memory conditions (perhaps it allocates a buffer, etc.) assumed to be fresh from reset in the instructions. And even if you had the 82143A printer pl...

Hepax/Zenrom conflict
Combination of Hepax from Ángel’s files and Zenrom from hp41.org causes calc to freeze, requiring a hard reset. Load order on active module page is 1) Zenrom, 2) Hepax. Catalog-2 afterwards shows both modules installed with Hepax listing before Zenrom. HEPDIR showed “No Filesystem”. Turning the calc...

Re: Cannot program byte grabber
I used the instructions on MoHP that Mark linked to.Mark Hardman wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 5:00 amI can confirm the issue. The instructions are at: https://www.hpmuseum.org/prog/synth41.htm
I even set the DM41X to SLOW mode to ensure that the CAT 1, R/S step is timed correctly.

Re: Cannot program byte grabber
Tried on a 41CL, able to create the byte grabber program. Tried again on the DM41X with only the printing module installed. Managed to get to the point where the ALPHA string “?AAAAAA” had to be entered. On the 41CL, all characters were displayed and was able to successfully exit program mode to cre...

Re: Source for additional MOD files
Ángel,
I think I found a discrepancy between the AMMC/OSX module and the manual. CAT”1 doesn’t bring up the selection menu as stated in the manual. CAT”0 however does bring up the menu. I assume this was a recent change that has not made it to the manual.
