Re: Suitable app for iOS Win etc., for DM41 similar to Free42

Thank you. I have i41CX+, but thought there might be others I'm not aware of. I hope that i41CX+ can be used to write and trouble-shoot programs similarly to Free42.

Suitable app for iOS Win etc., for DM41 similar to Free42

Is anyone aware of an HP41CX emullator for iOS, Win, etc., that is analogous to Free42? Is there an appropriate app that is based upon the DM41 (like Free42)?

entering the L/F character in a text editor

i would like to use the “L/F” character but can’t figure out how to do so. i tried adding the command in free42 in program mode, then copying that line and pasting into the text editor, but only got “[LF]”, which doesn’t translate properly when going from the text editor to free42. Does anyone have ...

Re: time and date math

Thank you both very much! I used the HP41CV extensively, but almost 40 years ago - I've slept since then and my programming skills are very rusty.

Re: Encoder/decoder

I tend to do preliminary work in Free42 on my iPhone, where I don’t have access to ctrl-a, ctrl-c, ctrl-v because it is easier for me, and selecting and copying sometimes is problematic. But moving them from Free42 isn’t as easy, though you do copy them in Free42. But when trying to encode a file (r...

Re: Encoder/decoder

Depending upon the size of the program, uploading as a text file could be easier. Outside of that, what functions do the “choose file” and “upload” buttons serve? What file type(s) are expected?
