However, even if it is possible, I do not like this solution, since it ends up having the numbers doubled up in memory, 1x in the code and 1x in the matrix. I will try thinking of another way. Granted, I'm no electrical engineer, mere programmer, but if I understand correctly, if I plug the AC adapter while battery bay is full of NiMH cells then the worst case scenario - the batteries are charging, but since there is no overcharge protection circuit I gotta watch 'em like a hawk to make ...

I think that intelligible inline comments would consume so much space that 2 additional bytes for "FS? XX" are negligible . Flag 14 looks like a good candidate, as it will be cleared every time you switch on the calculator. To my knowledge it's not automatically set by any operation. And o...
