Conversion between True Airspeed, (TAS), Computed Airspeed (CAS) and Mach Number (M) for a given Altitude in ....
Although CAS is a computed airspeed, CAS denotes "Calibrated Airspeed". BTW TAS is a computed airspeed also.

Re: Crazy 41 ebay of the day

We have a guy of the same gang here: "magic48ges" is a well known member of our 48 community. He has contributed valuable programs for the HP48 series. And if there will be an Allschwil meeting this year, he'll most probably attend. hpcalc.org lists him with more than 30 contributions. A few marked...

Re: WP 43S Pilot Run (Poll!)

I really enjoy seeing some of the German ones as well, where the tradition seems to be if there is no word for an oft-used phrase, simply coin a new one, combining the words together, though I have failed to grasp the rules for how and when this is done. Can that be easily explained to someone that...

Re: My DM42 Is lost

I think I heard in the news that no parcels are processed from Germany to the US at the moment. Perhaps there are similar restrictions from US to Europe.

This is the correct sub-forum. From the landing page for the 41X beta:

Hardware issues
The DM41X and the DM42 share the same hardware. This forum therefore simply links to the "Hardware issues" sub-forum within the DM42 forum.
Oh yes, you're right of course

Re: Rapid wear with shift key

Anyone else have an issue with the color of either the [SHIFT] or [ALPHA] keys wearing off quickly? I have been using my 41X for about a day and am already seeing wear on the top of the [SHIFT] key. ... The key itself works fine. Hm yes, that's not really nice, the color comes off very easily, to b...

Re: Custm menu ambiguity

To add to the confusion, enter this small programme: 01 LBL "SIN" 02 123456 03 END Now press the "SIN" in your CUSTOM menu. Huh! Conclusion: When assigning something to the custom menu the choice of Functions, Programs etc. just lets you select easily what you want to assign to a specific key. It do...
