Suggestion for top row of keys

I have a suggestion for SwissMicros regarding the top row of keys. Currently, F1 is HELP and F4 takes you to the LOAD/SAVE menu. That leaves F2, F3, F5, and F6 at present unused. Could they be made assignable to any shifted or unshifted key on the keyboard via the SETUP menu? I'd immediately assign ...

DIVIDE BY 0 using SOLVE

I entered the following equation F=L/(4*pi*SQ(D)) It can solve for F ( L=3.828E26, D=1.5E11 ) with no problem. F=1,353.878 However, trying to solve for L ( F=1,353.878, D=1.5E11 ) results in DIVIDE BY 0. But after pressing C twice, the correct result is shown 3.828E26. If I retry solving for L again...

Re: Maths precision compared to DM42

It amazes me there might be a real world application where a difference in the 31st digit matters. I live in the engineering world where having six digits for the inputs to a calculation is very good, and it is usually fewer than that. I totally agree. I almost didn't report this, but thought it mi...

Maths precision compared to DM42

I don't know if this reflects an actual problem. It may just be a difference between the maths libraries. But they get a "slightly" different result from each other for 2123! DM42: 1.47990729940324933320330668728 1204 E6143 DM32: 1.47990729940324933320330668728 5902 E6143 The same calculat...

Re: Date and time in header

What does the rest of the header mean?

Mine displays date and time followed by "nimb 0/1" and the battery indicator. "nimb" was the last state file I loaded. But what does the "0/1" refer to?

Thank you - Thank You - THANK YOU! B-)

Awesome calculator BTW - you can do so much without any programming. I can see it being my "goto" calculator.
