but I think for 41 there is no solution.
It seems proven that there is no solution for 41

WP43 can calculate 42 :o
Yes WP43S can! :P

But DM42 can calculate 43 :D 12^3 + 8^3 + (-13)^3

Re: Fault report

Using a freshly compiled emulator, I removed bin file for a fresh start, then 77 ENTER 88 [y^x] keeps on crashing, with "segmentation fault 11". I experience the same issue on Linux but not on Windows... For now I have no idea what the problem is. I think it's the same as https://gitlab.com/Over_sc...

Re: Fault report

2.0 ENTER 55 [y^x] which gives 3.6... x 10^16, within range of short int. I then do # D which gives me 0 base 10. Not right. I expected it to give me a 15 odd significant digit integer with zeroes where the figures were gone. It's fixed but keep following in mind: 2^55 = 36 028 797 018 963 9 68 and...

Fault report in Long integer operation, sign is not processed correctly:
RESET 2 [+/-] ENTER 3 [y^x] and the same for
RESET 2 ENTER [+/-] 3 [y^x] and
RESET 2 ENTER [+/-] 3 EXIT [y^x]

all render 8, not -8.
Thank you for reporting. It's fixed now.

I think I have identified a bug that I want to submit to you.

When I loaded the pgm file into my DM42, I noticed that when I accessed the Info menu and wanted to know the battery status, I got the value -NaN999... . It doesn't work on the emulator either.
Thank you for reporting. It's fixed now.

Re: 43S News

Hi Jaymos,

it's better to report a bug that is not a bug than to risk not reporting a real bug!
This one is a real one and is corrected in the master branch.

Cheers

Re: 43S News

RESET EXIT g[pi] [ENTER] 10 x Results in 31.41.. in X and 0 in Y RESET EXIT g[pi] g[pi] 10 x Results in 31.41.. in X and 3.14.. in Y. I think the stack lift enable is not set. I don't understand what's wrong. In the 1st case, ENTER disables stack lift so 10 overwrites pi in X. In the 2nd case stack...

Re: 43S News

Hi Jaymos,

it’s not a bug, it’s a feature!
In both cases (10 and 100), the numbers are long integers, not reals.
Try

Code: Select all

[RESET] [EXIT]
[g] [DISP] [FIX] [2]
.01 [ENTER]
.1 [ENTER]
10. [ENTER]
100. [EXIT]
note the . after 10 and 100

Re: 43S News

I found a strange anomaly in that the constants are showing weird numbers, i.e. Earth's gravitational constant: g (cross-circle) = 11.308542 m/s/s according to the WP43S emulator. I expected 9.8xxx. The WP34S correctly shows g = 9.806.... Euler’s e (eE) in the WP43S shows 5.6070374…x10ˆ-8 where the...
