Re: Firmware V32 for DM1x/DM41(L) units

Hello rprosperi Thanks for your answer. So I am happy that it is a known behavior. My only reservation of using higher speed is the higher battery consumption. It wouldn't make sense if I have to change the battery every week just because I use the higher speed (at the end just because of the keyboa...

Re: Firmware V32 for DM1x/DM41(L) units

I have been using the DM12L a bit more lately. I had the problem that it sometimes "swallows" numbers. At first I thought of a keyboard problem (my DM42 had a clear problem there... but since the upgrade of the clicker it is really gone). I then tested it on the DM15L as well: actually the...

Re: Upgraded keypad

I'm pretty sure my DM42 would be a great calculator with a new keyboard.
Not to say the best I've ever had.

Re: Upgraded keypad

An upgrade keyboard kit would be really helpful to make my DM42 usable. I would order and pay that if I could order it on the product side.

What kind of foam is on the PCB?

Hello all I think the foam pieces on the bottom left and right of the PCB on my DM15L are too thick. This causes the keyboard to bend up a bit in the middle. The keys in the center have a bit more hub as a result. That's not much, but it's a bit disturbing for me (doesn't fit to the rest of this by ...

Re: Spots on display, not pixels

It's really helpful useful to have a known-good, east-to-follow recipe, though the image of folks popping their machines into the kitchen oven is a bit frightening... DON'T DO THAT FOLKS, he's using a special oven. It's almost impossible to control your kitchen oven at temperature this low; find a ...

Well, for financial people, there we offer dedicated problem solvers with % and %T (opens the door to math kindergarten - sin, cos, tan, and brains must stay out). ([:-) Just to save the honor of perhaps present economists, I would like to mention that in the financial sector there is also the appl...

Re: DM15L keyboard faceplate is separating

Hello fcrvincent Yes it worked. At least it's fixed since two weeks and fine for me. That's not a long-term test but I would guess to try that before replacing it, as it doesn't cost you more than a bit of patience. It just needs a wooden shashlik-spit cut to the right size. Maybe toothpicks will do...
