Re: Request for feature: alternate font

What I don't like are comments which speak against the original font without or with wrong arguments instead of suggesting an alternative and explaining their benefits. Kindly indicate where someone did that. CBVG You said: "The emulated HP41 font only 'advantage' is an air of nostalgia, and t...

The WP 43S (custom build c09c1e79) works well on my 2019 MacBook Pro running macOS 11.2.3. I use wine only for pleasure and inspiration :D
Wine or WINE? I use them both. Usually WINE frustrates me leading to me needing more wine.

Re: May 2021 Speculations

But this is all moot, since the HP 35s is still in production, and therefore protected from copying. In the USA, at least, it doesn't matter if it's in production or not. If there's no copyright notice in the ROM somewhere, it's fair game for anyone to use. Does the 35s have such a notice? Well, th...

The emulated HP41 font only 'advantage' is an air of nostalgia, and that is done at the expense of enhanced readability and usability; skeuomorphism plain and simple.
You say that as if it's a bad thing.

You are right Walter, but how can I effectively test WP43S?

1st remark:
I don't have the possibility to run the emulator on WINDOWS because I only work on MAC OS.
There's WineHQ for MacOS:

Re: 43S News >>> POLL <<<

Here's a little poll, since we are undecided about the assignment of key 2 in second row. There are two alternatives to choose, and the calculator screen shows the bottom two rows of the menu EXP : Here you reach EXP via g-shift and y^x directly. mEXP_a.png . Here you reach EXP directly and y^x dir...

Re: 43S News

@Walter I agree it is quite common to include the latest information in the 1st post of a long thread, when the links, versions, etc. are expected to change over tine, this is absolutely the most common convention at MoHPC, hp41.org and most other boards for other topics. It's useful because the 1s...
