Well, how about renaming? 8-)
WP43 SN00000, 34S, and 31S for obvious reasons; HP-35, 45, ..., 35S, 15CE, DM16L S/N# 00093, DM42β SN:00041

But if I rename, so that it is not .bmp, then it would be at best a corrupt file, that will not load on the calculator.

To get this uploaded, I converted the file to PNG, but once downloaded, a person would have to convert it to BMP. As a PNG it uses even less space than BMP, but....

From up top "Images that do not meet this requirement will be removed from the forum :)"

So basically I'm asking to get the picture removed.

What software do you use to convert photos to b/w 1-bit color depth? When I use PAINT.NET to do it, the pictures are just about unrecognizeable.
The GIMP (https://www.gimp.org/).

First convert to greyscale and get the resolution right. Then go down to 1-bit colour depth and use Floyd-Steinberg dithering and you should be good to go.
I just got GIMP. It works great, thanks! Here's one for y'all:

Is it just me- or are the attached images being scrubbed for everyone?

It's not just this thread, its most/all threads. Inline images are removed.
Ok, glad it's not just me then.

If you right click it and open in a new tab or new window, you get a web page on Dropbox showing a picture of a Batmobile. It's the right size and looks black and white, but has been converted to a JPEG for some reason. (And no, it's not a BMP with the wrong file extension; it is an actual JPEG in JFIF format.)

I don't even get the option to open it in a new tab or window. I'm using Edge on Win 10.
