Casing is prone to fingerprints

Hi, since last Saturday I'm the happy owner of a new DM15L.
It was even updated to the latest firmware: nice service touch.
I like the the calculator a lot: solid feeling and good keys.

It is quite possible that my machine is coming from a new batch as the keyplate is printed using shining gold letters: readability is very good (sharp and crisp) and it definitely provides additional "style".

There is 1 point to note however: I found that the casing bottom is very prone to fingerprints and some were there already on arrival. The bottom casing seems to be coated in some yellowish powder which rubs off easily, but leaves dull spots when touched. So after 2 days of using smudges are very visible on all the edges. It bothers me not too much as my machine *is* meant to be used, but I can imagine that collectors who want to have their machines in a pristine condition as possible might find this annoying. Just my 2cts...

All in all I'm happy and impressed. This will keep me occupied while waiting for the DM42 :D

The Titanium surface is sandblasted and anodized and it is indeed prone to fingerprints.
Oil and grease change the color of Titanium.
There are two options for an even surface, either make the complete surface greasy or clean it with soup.

Try a nice Clam Chowder instead - no noodles : ^ )
