Just a thought, what about the 41CV ROM with added timing and advantage modules? Or modules chosen by the user to flash?
Edited to add: just wondering if the 41CV or even 41C ROMs would give you more memory to play with
No

Not just "No" but "hell no"!

Given that there's under 4K of space left, the possibilities are rather slim!
Was this ever further explored?

Hi there
I always reach for my DM-15L over HP-35S for maths work, and a 41L would be a downgrade for me as I require quick and fast results and like the solver and Matrix math that obviously the 41 doesn't have.
Also I own an HP-35S which many like to denigrate.. but it isn't a bad machine... however I still prefer the 15L as far superior, also the block font is superb and can be seen in all lights unlike the very poor HP-35S font. The 15L is in fact almost a perfect math machine... and better built than my 16C Voyager in my opinion.
I'd go for the 15L if you are into Maths otherwise perhaps the 41L is a much better general choice.
Regards
Ed
PS. I own an DM-15L, DM-16L and DM-16 and also an HP-35S and HP-16C. I used to own an HP-41CV before I sold it to buy the 15L. Mainly I use the 16's for my line of work but the 15C for general math stuff.

I am undecided, dm15L with all the mathematics but without base converter.
dm16L discarded because I have no log.
I love DM41L and I suppose there are programs to convert hexadecimal to decimal and binary.
On the other hand, 15L is faster.
My idea is a 35S but in voyager format
any ideas?

DM41X maybe?
Much faster than the DM41L and with much of the 41C ecosystem available. You could become a beta-tester

But it's not landscape

I've been tempted but I have the hp prime and it seems wonderful as a large calculator. I am looking for one in Voyager format as the first premise.
I wish there was a 41XL
but it is not possible
