Updated DM41 encoder/decoder

Post by grsbanks »

Head on over to http://dm41.swissmicros.com :)

This new version preserves a lot more information from the DM41 than the previous version.

Have a look at the "Quick Ref" tab for an overview of what you can see from the dump and synthesise in a new dump.

Quick question from a naive and inexperienced calculator user: would a memory dump from the previous version of the firmware be able to be flashed to a DM41L with the new version of the firmware?

Nice improvements. Adding the quick ref is useful too, a nice touch.

Suggest links to the 2 Encoders/Decoders be added to the SwissMicros.com and forum.swissmicros.com websites? Though I admit the access url is pretty darned simple, it comes down to will folks recall that, and for others that don't read this thread, it will help discovery.

Update: Sorry, just found the link to the dm42 Encoder/Decoder already on the DM42 page - well we agree it's a good idea.
