Of course I'd like it, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but I'm not going to stress myself out over it anymore.
Given the screen-to-keyboard proportions, I think the keys would be far too small. You'd need a microscope to see the writing on the keyboardkeithdalby wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 9:11 amJust throwing ideas out into the void: what about a credit card sized portrait DM42? Similar dimensions to the other credit card sized models, but portrait, small screen (of the same resolution), completely compatible with the DM42 - but smaller?
Personally, I think the credit card sized calcs are nice toys, not serious tools. Toys are beyond the spec of the DM42 IIRC. YMMV.keithdalby wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 9:11 amJust throwing ideas out into the void: what about a credit card sized portrait DM42? How could it be completely compatible with less keys and a smaller display?keithdalby wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 9:11 amJust throwing ideas out into the void: what about a credit card sized portrait DM42? Possibly, but my DM-15 fits into my shirt pocket with ease and I use it all the time on-the-go, but my DM42 is just too large for that. Even a landscape model the size of the DM1XL would have the same weakness of being too large, being about the same size as the DM42.Walter wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 12:42 pmnice toys, not serious toolskeithdalby wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 9:11 amJust throwing ideas out into the void: what about a credit card sized portrait DM42?
