Optimist! Otherwise this would be 'experimental business law 101'. Experiments in this area may become very expensive (as pointed out earlier: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=251&start=20#p3391)
What city or town is the DM-42 made??

Re: What city or town is the DM-42 made??
Just looked at a website based on USA law (after all, they own the internet, or so many of them would have us believe), and it looks like a country of origin sticker isn't needed for imports that are for personal use.

(I am also not a lawyer and find these abbreviations so irritating that I took this opportunity to make a passive aggressive point)
Edited to add: all in good humour, of course! I hope no-one gets offended

"Accordingly, there are two conditions that must be fulfilled for goods to be legally labelled as being of Swiss origin:
- The Swiss portion of the production cost must be at least 50 percent (until 1 January 2017, then 60 percent[2]).
- The most important part of the manufacturing process must have taken place in Switzerland."
Apparently the DM42 can not use a Made in Switzerland sticker because most if its production happens outside Switzerland.

[rant] Yeah, sometimes it would pay to read a bit before starting a thread. And BTW, the picture is here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=251&start=10#p3372 (proper linking instead of thoughtless copying & pasting is appreciated as well).
