Although not a memeber of the EU, Switzerland is part of theEuropean Single Market. Therefore there are no customs for most goods between Switzerland and the EU.
Switzerland is outside the EU, and therefore customs are applicable. I have already purchased Swiss goods and I had to pay import taxes + French TVA + customs fees.
You will find a CN22 label on the parcel coming from SwissMicros, which is mandatory for importation inside EU. Bur for small parcels, shipped with a basic postal service, it is unlikely that they will be opened, verified and taxed. I have received my DM15 without customs. But theoretically, there are customs from Switzerland.
In Norway we basically only pay duty on clothes and food, but we have a whopping 25% VAT when buying for more than $42 incl. shipping. Often it slips through customs though, so I am hoping...
