Many HP42S programs found party with explanations

Contributions to this software library are always welcome. Please ensure that you post program listings rather than .raw files. They give a reasonable idea of what your program does without having to load them into a DM42 and you can also include comments in your code. Check out the following link for a decoder/encoder: https://technical.swissmicros.com/decoders/dm42/

You can then copy/paste the listing and post it in "code" tags.

Many HP42S programs found party with explanations

Post by mcc »

Hi,

is this source known?
https://www.thecalculatorstore.com/Soft ... -for-HP42s
There are explanations how to use the programs -- see remarks.

Happy Christmas, happy calculating!

Cheers!

All I get whenever I click on a program is a redirect to a sales URL:

The links in the first part of that page all point to www.hp42s.com, which used to be Erik Ehrling's site, long defunct. The Japanese page you end up on looks like a domain registrar.

Did anyone ever archive Erik's site?

One option is to use the Wayback Machine:

https://web.archive.org/web/20040715000 ... .hp42s.com

You can still get most of the programs and descriptions.
