What is the raw format?

Contributions to this software library are always welcome. Please ensure that you post program listings rather than .raw files. They give a reasonable idea of what your program does without having to load them into a DM42 and you can also include comments in your code. Check out the following link for a decoder/encoder: https://technical.swissmicros.com/decoders/dm42/

You can then copy/paste the listing and post it in "code" tags.

What is the raw format?

Post by cappy »

I've seen this encoder/decoder page
https://www.swissmicros.com/dm42/decoder/index.php

how do I convert programs to this format?

I have an HP42 program that was OCRd from a PDF, but
would like to get it into the .RAW format, so that I can
load & run it in my DM42.

Thanks

Paste (or type in) the text into the left window then click the Encode » button just under that window. The raw file will appear in the right window. Once it's encoded, you can click the Download button to save the .raw file to your computer.
