Solution for DM42s slip case being too tight...

Post by zeno333 »

Someone else mentioned this before, that the DM42 case can be pretty tight fitting...(Took me a couple minutes to remove it the first time..). The solution as has been mentioned is to turn it inside out, works like a charm. (Takes much patience to turn it completely inside out but it gets done with time...be gentle to not rip it...)

My solution: don't do anything, just give it time. My case was quite tight at first, too, but it stretched, and now the calculator goes in and out as easily as my HP-42S in its original case.

My solution: Use the new case with an old Pionier calclulator over night, like a HP-10B. This old Calculators a a little bigger then the dm42p and can help too expand the case.
