A practical use for OFFIMG

Post by Dave Britten »

Create a "This calculator belongs to..." owner identification and contact info image, and make sure that's the only file in OFFIMG. Since the image is stored in flash, it'll survive power loss, and will make it really obvious who to return the device to if lost/stolen.

A potential thief might return the calculator once they try and use it and realise it's "broken" because 2+2 yields 2 and where the hell is the [=] key?

Now I have to change it to the 787 from the 777!

Has my initials on the tail and my phone number. YVROPS is an intra company mail address.

Don't know if I want my initials on the tail of anything ... ;)

Many happy landings (and no holes)!

"Tail" does not have the same meaning in English slang as it does in German (or French for that matter...) :)
There are only 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who do not.
