SwissMicros, when are you going to make a DM-01? There seems to be considerable interest... :D

Well, the chip (not cheap!) is already here (http://www.panamatik.de/html/hp-01_repair_kit.html).
What we need now is a modern titanium case and we are done! ;)

Accurate +-3ppm time with temperature compensated quartz. Full calculator capability,

... but of course, a potential future DM-01 should be RPN (ducking for incoming RPL flak...)! :D

I could concur, in this case.

My test has run long enough to show results:

DM42: 13 s fast after 88 h = 41 ppm
HP-50g: 3 ¼ s slow after 50.3 h = 18 ppm

The DM42 is a beta unit, SN 62.

I do have a data logger recording temperature and humidity in the same room, so I could provide those numbers if necessary. I didn't keep track of radiation levels, though.

You are strangely quiet about the placement of the arithmetic operator keys... :D

Bernhard at Panamatik has already created the board for the HP 01. Only thing is it needs the LED block from a donor HP 01. Now if someone could create a case and LED tech for the Panamatik board.

Always wondered why there is no Apple Watch app simulating the HP 01. Maybe making a scientific version of the watch! Bernhard has stated that he can code the HP 01 board he has created (I have two) into a scientific rpn version but how does one create the overlay?

I too, would like to see an RPN LCD Scientific version of the HP 01. HP actually had and LCD version prototyped for production but it was cancelled.

No, no! Red LED's are the way to go... :D
