Storing alpha into a matrix ?

Post by mcc »

Hi,

according to the oncalc (the calculator related equivalent to "online' :) ) help, it is possible to store up to
six characters per cell into a real matrix, which is not nessecarily the REGS matrix.

But I dont find a way to do so...

Any help is appreciated in beforehand! :)
Cheers!

When editing your matrix

1. goto the cell you want to insert alpha data into
2. press [shift] [Enter] to enter Alpha mode
3. enter up to 6 chars (e.g. "ABC")
4. while still in alpha mode press [STO] (which is ASTO in alpha mode]
5. press [.] to open the stack register storage menu
6. press [ST X] to select the X register (which is used for editing the matrix element)
7. press [shift][Enter] to leave alpha mode
8. You will see the matrix cell: X:Y="ABC"

Holler if that doesn't make sense
